This fibre blend by ONION is a great natural alternative to traditional sock blends that use nylon. Comprising of 70% Organic Wool and 30% Nettle, the nettle fibres are breathable and a great insulator, providing both warmth and strength needed for socks or garments.
These yarns come in a variety of beautiful colours, the mottled look is due to the nettles, as the nettle doesn't naturally accept dye like wool. This environmentally friendly fibre is also biodegradable.
