This pouch is the result of left over yarn from the Nettle string bag. A challenge to see how much can be created from two fine nettle yarn balls.
The pouch is designed to fit most phone sizes plus a bit extra. The rope length can be whatever you need. from a necklace to a small side bag.
Beginner friendly, reverse double crochet stitches are used to reinforce the top edge.
Notes:
The pattern is written in UK terms. The bag is worked in continuous rounds from a chain start base. Stitch marker or spare thread is required to mark the rounds.
Handspun Nettle varies in gauge, the ply used in this pattern is equivalent to lace weight. Pattern is crocheted with two yarns held together. If using a thicker yarn (fingering), crochet using a single strand.
