Raw Fibres Sample Pack

Ideal for weaving, mixed-media craft, and texture experimentation. If you plan to spin, please note that these fibres are in their raw state and will require combing and carding before they’re ready for spinning.

The pack contains: 30g bundles of Nettle, Jute, Banana and Tussah Silk waste fibres.

Himalayan Nettle (Nepal) – A strong, breathable, with natural antibacterial qualities, offering a durable yet lightweight alternative to conventional plant fibres.

Jute (India) – Known for its durability and rich texture, ideal for adding structure and visual interest to your projects. 

Tussah Silk (India) – Waste silk fibres, a lustrous silk with a soft golden hue, varying lengths, perfect for adding softness and sheen. 

Banana Fibre (India) – Smooth, lightweight, and silky texture, offering a plant based alternative to silk fibres.

Please note: this is a natural, hand processed product, the colour, thickness, fibre lengths and texture will vary within each fibre bundle. There may also be small fragments of plant matter within the Nettle and Jute fibres.
